“The iSchool project, spearheaded by the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) aims to incorporate information and communications technology (ICT) in education towards strengthening classroom learning and instruction by expanding access to various sources of information.” Mr. Caro said.
“CICT will release 20 computer units to each high school beneficiary. The units will be installed in their laboratory and offices with Internet connection. The goal of CICT’s iSchool Project is to contribute in integrating ICT in education initiatives of the government to enable our secondary graduates to be globally competitive,” he said.
The Dean of the Institute of Computer Science at ISCAF further explained, “Once these computer units are set up, there will be continuous monitoring and evaluation by the ICT coordinator to ensure full operation and maintenance.”
