Ifugao pride Jason Balabal won the Philippines' second gold in wrestling during the 26th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Indonesia. The 25-year-old Balabal bags the second gold in the 84-kg Greco-Roman wrestling competition while his compatriot Margarito Angana scored the first gold.

Meanwhile, for the 7th day of SEA Games (held November 11-22, 2011), the Philippines so far garnered a total of 15 golds, 28 silvers, and 34 bronze medals. PHL team is expecting to gain more medals for the remaining events. As of today, Indonesia (the host country) leads the race with 222 medals followed by Vietnam (168), Thailand (152), Singapore (107), Malaysia (97), Philippines (77), Lao PDR (27), Cambodia (23), Myanmar (29-most are bronze), Brunei (7), and Timor Leste (1).
