NOTICE OF SEARCH AND CALL FOR
APPLICATIONS
The IFUGAO
STATE UNIVERSITY (IFSU) BOARD OF REGENTS, formally and publicly announces that
the SEARCH FOR THE PRIVATE SECTOR REPRESENTATIVE FOR DISTRICT II IN THE
GOVERNING BOARD is now open.
A. Applicants must possess the
following minimum qualifications:
1. Must be a resident of the place where the main or external campus is located, at least 6 months prior to the submission of application;
2. Must be a prominent citizen and who has distinguished himself/herself in his/her profession or field of specialization;
3. Must have knowledge, expertise and depth and breadth of experience to the deliberations and work of the Governing Board;
4. Must be able to participate in all the meetings and undertakings of the Governing Board and its committees whenever and wherever agreed upon;
5. Must be able to effectively link the University and its programs to the people of the communities;
6. Must possess linkages [local, national, as well as international] which may be harnessed for the realization of the vision, mission, and goals and objectives of the University;
7. Must have no pending administrative and/or criminal cases;
8. Must be physically fit as certified by a Government Physician; and
9. Must not be a government employee or official.
B. One (1) set of the following documents must be submitted to the Search Committee for Private Sector Representative (SCPSR) Secretariat –
1. Formal Application Letter addressed to the CHED Chairperson:
1. Must be a resident of the place where the main or external campus is located, at least 6 months prior to the submission of application;

Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Bio-data, duly signed;
3. Certified
true copy of documents in support of the data stated in the CV, e.g., medical
certificate for physical fitness, certificates of trainings, certificates
of awards/recognition;
4. Certification
of no pending administrative and/or criminal case (e.g., NBI Clearance);
5. Disclosure
of the following (suggested format available from Mr. Julian B. Nangpuhan II,
Acting Board Secretary of IFSU):
5.1. Ancestry/Lineage in Ifugao
5.2. Any affiliation with member/s of academic and
administrative sectors and the BOR of IFSU; and
5.3. Any economic activity/ies with IFSU; and
6. Plans
and Goals for IFSU (in two pages only)
Deadline for submission of application documents
shall be on October 22, 2013, Tuesday at 5:00PM.
